Limited Access & Interchange

Limited access facilities expedite the flow of traffic, typically for an extended distance. We carry decades of experience supporting the unique characteristics of limited access facilities to ensure roadway users’ expectations are met.

We understand the requirements of tolled and untolled facilities for resurfacing, reconstruction, widening, extensions of limits, ramp realignments, and new interchanges. Temporary traffic control plans (TTCPs) are designed to address the specifics along every mile of work. If detours are required, we make sure traffic during peak hours and special events aren’t impacted, and we coordinate with the local agency for a smooth transition back to the limited access facility.

Clients and teaming partners benefit from our extensive interchange designs, which encompass fully directional, dogbone (roundabout), tight diamond, partial cloverleaf, and wide diamond designs. If toll plazas, ramp tolling, all electronic tolling (AET), or express lanes are needed, we have all project needs covered under one roof.
