Who We're Looking For
This opportunity is for an experienced Senior Project Engineer with 7-8 years of experience (2+ years post registration) in Traffic design with FDOT (SAPM, signals, lighting and/or ITS). The ideal candidate will be leader who is excited about joining our team and helping to grow the Traffic Systems group.

Our Traffic Systems Group is based in downtown Orlando, FL, but this position can also be based in our Tallahassee or Punta Gorda offices.

What You'll Be Doing
In a nutshell, you'll be running small to mid-sized traffic projects and directing and developing internal staff. You'll have a strong team of designers, engineers and senior project managers to support your projects and your career.

What You Need To Bring
- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering
- Traffic Systems design experience ; ITS experience is a plus
- Minimum of 2+ years of post registration experience with FDOT
- Experience with OpenRoads Designer (ORD)
- The natural inclination to take initiative
- The desire and confidence to become a key contributor
- Highly organized a solid communicator

Half-Day Fridays

Professional Licenses & Memberships

Protean reimburses the full cost of their required PE licensing renewals every two years including continuing education fees. We will also pay the membership fees for us to two professional groups where employees choose engaged members.
